Preparations are in top gears for the gathering of Information Technology (IT) professionals in Bauchi, Bauchi State capital, Nigeria, Techeconomy can report.
The IT professionals under the auspices of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), will converge at the Event Place, Murtala Mohammed Way, Federal Low Cost Bypass, Bauchi on Tuesday August 8 to Thursday, August 10, 2023, with discussions centered (theme) on: “Communications and e-Systems for Economic Stability (CeSES 2023)”
Reflecting on the importance of the Conference to Bauchi State, during a press conference on Wednesday, July 26 2023, Professor Adesina Sodiya, President of NCS, said:
The NCS International Conference is an annual event organized to bring together Information Technology industry icons, decision-makers, CEOs, government, academia, and other experts of the industry within and outside the country to brainstorm on current national and global developmental issues.
“With an average of 2000 yearly delegates, the International Conference has become the largest gathering of IT professionals in Africa. Over the years, NCS has been championing and promoting IT development in Nigeria through the International Conference.
“The International Conference also features exhibitions of various Information Technology products ranging from Software, Hardware, etc., that are of great benefit to both the government and the industry”, he said.
Continuing, Prof. Sodiya said that Bauchi State will stand to benefit specifically in the following areas:
