‘Google Developer Launchpad Start’ opens at Co-Creation Hub

Google Developers Launchpad Start is a one week problem solving bootcamp for early stage startups focused on subjects including product strategy, UX and UI, technology, marketing, business development and presentation skills.

In this edition, Google and Co-Creation Hub (CC-Hub), Yaba, join forces to carry out the first ever Google Developers Launchpad Start in Lagos, Nigeria!

The idea, according to the organisers, is to achieve rapid progress in a very short time, drawing on the extensive experience of our mentors.

A total of 20 startups were selected for Launchpad Start Lagos.

Mentors and Startups

Launchpad Start mentors have been carefully selected and reviewed by the Head Mentors and a committee of Googlers, and they come from the fields of Product Strategy, UX/ UI, Technology and Marketing as well as Pitching, Finance or VC are helping our startups to succeed.

Startup selection criteria: tech startup targeting any industry with a minimum viable product and 6-18 months of operation with little or no revenue or users. Must have at least two co-founders, one being technical.

Commenting on the programme, Country Manager, Google, Juliet Ehimuan Chiazor, says “Great to kick off the Google Launchpad Start program at Co-creation Hub Nigeria (CcHUB) today”.
