Over 400 youths, techies, entrepreneurs, business enthusiasts in Anambra and environs converged at Geogold Hotels Awka on the 9th of December 2017 for this year’s edition of StartupAnambra tagged: #Startup #StartRight #StartSmart.

#StartupAnambra is a local community of StartUp Founders/Co-Founders, Tech Oriented Business Owners, Developers, investors and tech enthusiasts who are passionate about building a vibrant tech-entrepreneurship ecosystem in Anambra State.

The event, first of its kind in the State, connected lots of persons, gave many, the strength to continue doing what they are doing as well as exposed many to lots of business secret.

The Convener, Pascal Okeke, dropped some inspiring lines of messages for the participants to take home.

Though he started by saying, “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples”, but Pascal recognises the importance of providing shoulders-of-support to one another to gear-up starup ecosystem in the State.

Hear him: “Heroes didn’t leap tall buildings or stop bullets with an outstretched hand; they didn’t wear boots and capes. They bled, and they bruised, and their superpowers were as simple as listening, or loving. Heroes were ordinary people who knew that even if their own lives were impossibly knotted, they could untangle someone else’s. And maybe that one act could lead someone to rescue you right back”.

Pascal who doubles as the CEO of Bigcode Nigeria Limited co-organised the event with Mr Chukwurah Kal of Progxap and Mr Daniel Dallas of Dallas Technologies.
