Tech hub for persons living with disabilities set for launch in Lagos

A Nigerian civic organization, Project Enable, is opening a technology and entrepreneurship hub for persons living with disabilities.

The project is built with the support of the U.S. Government Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund and the U.S. Consulate General Lagos’ Small Grants Award.

Project Enable to launch tech hub

The digital hub which seeks to promote the empowerment and social inclusion of persons with disabilities is cited at the New Oko-Oba, Agege, Lagos and due for launch next week.

Acting U.S Consul General, Lagos, Darcy Zotter, will declare the hub open and give remarks.

She will be joined by Director, Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs, Dr. Adebukola Adebayo; Chairperson, Lagos State Chapter of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD), Mrs. Adedoyin Beyioku-Alase, and  Founder & Project Director, Project Enable, Mr. Olusola Owonikoko.
