The University of Nigeria Alumni Association in Lagos recently elected new executive members that would spearhead the Association’s programmes and ethos, both within and outside the State.
The newly elected executives are scheduled to hold their first meeting this Sunday, March 18th 2018 at the UNN Liaison office in Ikeja, Lagos.
The Lagos liaison office in Ikeja was the venue for the election as members from all walks of life and endeavours gathered to decide the leadership of the next two-year tenure. New Executive members were elected to different positions which was followed by a smart inauguration.
Deputy National President, Mrs. Linda Agua-Onyekwelu (ALOHA) and the Zonal Vice President (South West), Alh. Yusuff Aderibigbe were on ground to ensure a smooth transition.
The election saw Sir Orji Udemezue emerging as the 15th President of the branch.
Udemezue, a seasoned business consultant, had immediately hit the ground running by rallying the members of the association and by floating an online dragnet campaign to reach out to all alumni resident in Lagos in a bid to maintain an all-inclusive leadership style signposted by new ideas.
