Digital Encode receives BoICT Hall of Fame Award

It is confirmed! Digital Encode a leading consulting and integration firm that specializes in the design, management, and security of business-critical networks, telecommunications environments and other Information Technology (IT) infrastructures, has been inducted into Beacon of ICT, BoICT Hall of Fame.

The award, according to the CEO of Communications Week Media Limited, Mr. Ken Nwogbo, is a testament to Digital Encode’s prowess in the IT compliance advisory segment of the market.

“The Company Co-Founded by Wale Obadare and Seyi Akindeinde in year 2013, is recognized in the industry for its vendor independent perspective.

“Also, the expertise lies in solving multifaceted, complex enterprise network security and audit problems. This, in the first place, triggered interest among the award Organising Committee to look the way of Digital Encode. So, we are proud of them. In fact, the only person who has been inducted into that Hall of Fame is the former EVC of NCC, Dr. Ernest Ndukwe.

“Therefore, this is a huge success and feather on the cap of Digital Encode; we congratulate them”, Mr. Nwogbo added.

Digital Encode is notable for two major purposes: to save money and solve a problem.

The BoICT Hall of Fame award winners 2018 are known for their competencies in providing advisory services toward improvements in information security MANAGEMENT, network security, vulnerability management, penetration testing, computer forensics, risk management and business continuity MANAGEMENT.

“We are highly elated for this honour done on us by Communications Week and the industry in general, because people voted on different categories which warranted the event to hold.

“At Digital Encode, our unique methodology is rooted in the concept that a company should run its IT organization as a business. We assist Companies to achieve these goals through a well defined process; translating strategic business objectives into sound, achievable technology solutions. This approach ensures that the technology never obscures the business goals”, said Akindeinde who doubles as the Chief Technical Officer, said in a chat with TechEconomy.ng.

On his part, Obadare, the Chief Operating Officer, dedicated the award to their clients and the industry in general, adding that Digital Encode’s mission is “to help individual and businesses protect their information assets”.

BoICT annual lecture/awards is a platform to honour outstanding individuals and corporate organisations as well as government establishments that have distinguished themselves in the areas they major.
