Chrisland University and the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Ogun State Chapter, have announced plans for their collaborative efforts to deepen Information Technology knowledge among computer science students in the South Western region of Nigeria.
The two-day Programme, according to information available to TechEconomy.ng, starts on Thursday, 22nd to Friday, 23rd November, 2018.
“We are pleased to invite you as a school and individually to participate at the Information Technology Development Programme for Computer Science students of tertiary institutions in the southwest of the country”, the Organising Committee said.
Venue: Chrisland University, Ajebo Road, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The theme of the IT Development programme organized by Nigeria Computer Society, Ogun State Chapter is E-Agriculture: Panacea for Economic Sustainability
The programme is aimed at building and enhancing IT skills, interests and attitudes among students coupled with a medium for interaction.
The features of the programme include IT Quiz, Innovation Presentation, Accenture Software Challenge.
The benefits according to the Chairman of the organising committee, Dr. Olaniyi Aborisade include, Software Training, Job Placement, Internship Placement, Mentoring and Networking.
