The New Board and Management of Emerging Markets Telecommunications Services Nigeria Ltd (EMTS), that’s 9Mobile, paid a courtesy visit on the Nigerian Communications Commission.
The visit was led by Prince Nasir Bayero, Chairman EMTS on February 7th, 2019 at the Commissions Head Office, Abuja.
The visit, the first of its kind was to introduce the new Board and Management of 9Mobile to the Commission about the progress they have made since the takeover of 9mobile in November 2018, following the joint intervention of the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Nigerian Communications Commission.
The Chairman of 9Mobile informed the Commission, that the new Board and Management of 9mobile are designing new strategies and ways to ensure that 9Mobile continues to provide excellent quality services while complying to the key performance indicators which the Telco has never failed to meet.
The Executive Vice Chairman NCC, Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta who welcomed the delegation commended them that despite the challenges they were able to increase their Subscribers Database as well as maintain High Quality of Service KPI delivery on their network.
The NCC boss also advised the New management to redesign the structure of the Company for greater productivity and better services to the Nigerian citizens who have chosen to stay on their network all this long.
Director Consumer Affairs Bureau Felicia Onwuegbuchulam, who gave the vote of thanks assured the delegation that NCC will continue to support them and that they should continue to maintain the growth as well as Quality of Service on their network for the benefit of all Nigerians.
