Microtraction, a pre-seed investment firm based in Lagos, has announced the appointment of Chidinma Iwueke as a partner. A Partner, Dayo Koleowo made the announced in a Medium post.
Chidinma who is said to have over six years experience in entrepreneurship and advisory roles have been in an onboarding and settling process with the company for the past six months, prior to this introduction.
“An important goal for us this year was to institutionalize Microtraction and turn it into a network that is greater than the sum of its parts. I couldn’t be happier with the steps we are taking to achieve this goal. Adding Chidinma to the Microtraction team is absolutely one of those steps in the right direction,” wrote Dayo.
The post insinuated that she would be dealing with portfolio companies for Microtraction due to her wide field of expertise and knowledge in engineering, medicine, and finance, coupled with her previous experience in the founder and operator roles.
Microtraction provide and promote hassle-free funding for technology entrepreneurs in Africa. They focus on investing at the earliest state of the ventures’ growth, with their investors being Venture Capitalists and Angels.
Chidinma, who is a member of Pave investments, also shared the feat on her twitter handle, sharing that she hopes to help tech entrepreneurs in Nigeria (and Africa), build solutions which will take the country into the next phase of growth.
