5G Network: All you should know

Advancement in technology has prompted the invention of 5G mobile broadband network. This will definitely optimize resources and enhance business environments globally. 5G is the latest and fastest mobile broadband network and it was introduced in late 2018.

What is 5G?

5G is the 5th generation mobile broadband network which is believed to take a much larger role than previous the generations introduced.
5G is said to be the network elevator to not only interconnect people, but also to interconnect and control machines, objects, and devices.
Research shows that the 5G broadband network will deliver new levels of performance, efficiency that will empower new user experiences and connect new industries together.
5 will also give ultra-low latency, multi-Gbps peak rates, massive capacity, and the option of uniform user experience.

What are the advantages of 5G?

5G has so many advantages, but few will be mentioned in this article. With 5G, you’ll be able to download faster and upload speeds are incredible compare to the previous generations.
The 5th generation mobile broadband network sounds promising. With its new super-fast internet connection, it will allow you download an HD movie in seconds.
Medical doctors will be able to perform remote surgery, or telesurgery, with virtually no lag time. It will also make their research, discoveries and invention easier and faster. With the 5G network, cars with self-driving capabilities will perform better thereby giving a safer and smarter experience.

Is 5G available?

5G Ultra Wideband is not available in many countries as of now. However, it is being used in a number of cities in America. In addition to these mobile markets, Verizon increased its coverage for 5G Home which is the first 5G-powered residential broadband service.

Who is using 5G Now?

5G is a complex wireless technology that started being deployed since 2019. Today, more than 4 million Koreans have phones that 5G-enabled and that stat is from October 2019, The country was expected to hit 5 million users year-end. China has deployed over 100,000 base stations. 150 million 5G mobile subscribers are expected by 2020 in China.

Huawei and 5G?

Telecom giant Huawei has signed over 50 commercial 5G contracts, more than its closest competitors Nokia and Ericsson. The company recently said it’s already working on 6G.
Countries that use/have 5G
According to reports, the top countries that use 5G are: South Korea, United Kingdom, Germany, and the United States.

Is 5G and 5G Wi-Fi dangerous?

We listed the advantages of the  5G network above. However, there is nothing that has an advantage and does not have its negative impact or effect on humans and the society.
Although it might have improved our day to day lives in one way or the other, some consumers have voiced concern about potential health damages.
Many of these concerns are over the use of 5G in higher energy millimeter-wave radiation.
On July 17, 2019 research showed that 5G has an ionizing radiation that is dangerous because its ability to break chemical bonds. More so, there are also suspicions that 5G will expose humans to more security breaches, privacy issues and even health problems in the future.
5GHz WI-Fi routers have been predicted to be more dangerous because they have twice the frequency with more intensity than the standard 2.45 GHz models.
In the Radio Frequency (RF) Radiation world, the higher the frequency the more dangerous it is to us. 2.45 GHz is the same frequency your microwave oven uses to cook food.

What are the negative effects of 5G?

There are so many negative effects of 5G on humans, which includes an increase in cancer risk, cellular stress, increase in harmful free radicals, genetic damages, structural and functional changes of the reproductive system, learning and memory deficits, neurological disorders, and negative impacts on general well-being in humans.

Can 5G kill you?

There have not been reports of possible termination of human live with the 5G, or any mobile communications network that can have a harmful effect on human health.
The upgrade is based on similar technology to preceding mobile networks, and so far no study has found a link between mobile phones and cancer, although research into the area is ongoing.
There are questions that need to be answered as the 5G is a very broadband network that still need to research on to get more facts about the network.
Will this new 5G transform our lives, or is it all just hype?
