- Releases throwback pictures
One of Nigeria’s top ICT Broadcast Journalist, Dr. Don Pedro Aganbi has spoken ahead of his twentieth (20th) anniversary of reporting the IT & Telecoms industry in Nigeria and championing the course of ICT advocacy in the country.
Don Aganbi also releases throwback pictures with Willy Obiano, executive Governor of Anambra state, Jim Ovia, founder, Zenith bank plc and Ibrahim Nakande, former minister of state for Information.
In a statement made available to TechEconomy.ng, he said that the throwback pictures would be in series as part of count-down to mark his 20th anniversary celebration billed to hold later this year, 2020 which promises to be a true celebration of excellence n tech broadcast journalism and advocacy.
He disclosed that his modest contribution towards the growth of the IT and telecoms industry of the country as a tech reporter is one of the best part of his life saying that it has been twenty years of passion, consistency and resilience.
Dr. Aganbi, a United Nation Award winner and a recipient of the Global IT Champion Award stated that the event will be a three-day of activities.
“My 20th anniversary celebration is going to be a part of the annual Titans of Tech conference, expo and Hall of Fame awards”, he stated.
Tagged “Celebrating 20 Years of positive impact in Tech Broadcasting and Advocacy”, the event which is set to hold in June 2020 at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos will host leading stakeholders in the IT and telecoms industry in Nigeria.
According to him, the 3-day event would feature a definitive documentary on the impact of IT and Telecoms on the Nigerian economy and the roles of key individuals over the last decade, the Nigeria ICT Youth Summit & Digital Ideas contest and the premiere of the first ever documentary movie on cybercrime.
The 20TH anniversary event offers a great opportunity for networking and forging strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the sector.
