As the negative economic effects of COVID-19 multiply, the Board of Directors and CEOs need to act—to manage the immediate impact, and also to address the vulnerabilities that COVID-19 has exposed.
To this end, Business Education Examinations Council (BEEC) in collaboration with The Management School London is set to host a two-day (virtual) Chief Executives and Directors Development Programme – from Monday, September 28 to Tuesday September 29, 2020 starting by 9.30am each day.
BEEC is Africa’s leader in Human Resource Development and Learning and it monitors its operating environment regularly.
BEEC in recognition of the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 Pandemic which has impacted on all organisations, has resolved that only innovative and creative organization will stand the test of time.
The Directors Brainstorming forum is BEEC’s response to lead captains of industry and Directors on how to re-position the Corporate Strategy and Board Direction to meet the challenges of COVID-19 operating environment.
BEEC, working with The Management School London, will also avail participants with critical knowledge to tackle their job roles, responsibilities and liabilities during the pandemic; develop strategy for growth and strategy for turn-around and re-engineering in a COVID-19 environment; enhance their strategic thinking and equip board members to provide strategic direction to their organizations in a COVID-19 environment; understand the roles of the chairman, managing director, executive director and non-executive directors; review professional competence and personal development of a Director; understand strategy formulation and how Stakeholders needs drive corporate objectives; develop strategy for managing Reputation Risk and Crisis Management and to let them understand board roles in change management.
