COVID-19: IAA hosts high pitch conversations to review brands and industry impact

To review the impact of the global crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic on businesses in the Marketing Communications Industry and its implication on brands, the International Advertising Association (IAA) Nigeria Chapter is set to hold the maiden edition of its High Pitch Conversation event with the topic, “COVID-19 and the Power of Empathy Marketing”.

The conversation which will focus on how industry leaders in marketing communications can use empathy in creating conversation with clients and consumers in times of difficulty and crisis will have as one of the discussants, Fredrik Borestrom, President, IAA UK & Head of Agency, International, LinkedIn.

Other discussants who by their conversations will X-Ray the critical role that brands play in shaping how consumers bounce back from difficult times will include, Temitope Jemerigbe, Chief Executive Officer, DKK Nigeria and Feyi Olubodun, Founder/Managing Partner, Open Squares & Author, The Villager.

The conversation which will be hosted by the President, IAA-Nigeria Chapter and Executive Vice-Chairman, Verdant Zeal Group, Dr. Tunji Olugbodi will be held via Zoom platform on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.
