ENDSARS: Protest takes new dimension as CBN allegedly summons Flutterwave, cuts off donation accounts
BY David Oladele

The #ENDSARS protest is taking a new dimension as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is allegedly accusing Flutterwave, a fintech payment platform, of funding peaceful agitators.
Reports claimed that the CBN also summoned the fintech payment platform due to their role as donation hub, temporarily disabling the donation link and asking the company to prove that the donations are not from terrorists.
The reports further have it that the account, which is now disabled had raised around N25 million, $9,000, CA$4,450, £5,000 and €750 to support the peaceful protest.
Earlier, FlutterWave via its Verified Twitter handle had released a statement on the total amount spend on wounded protesters.
