Commenting on the launch of the system, the MD/CEO of Crownbirth Limited, developers of TAMS, Ademola Adenubi, said: “I conceived the idea in 2006 and it came earlier than its time.
“Some of the people that I spoke to about it did not see any good thing in it. At some point, we had to develop, we had to approach schools and discuss all of those things. The reception was poor.
“So, I had to go back to work. I worked with the government and moved back to the academic and while I was there I saw the need for it today.
“And right from time, I had to redeploy into the university, the reception was still very poor because there is this apprehension that technology is to lay off people’s job. There is apprehension that technology is very expensive. And there is this notion that it won’t work.
“I think what saved the idea is persistence. We needed to continually review those of yesterday and take them as a requirement and work on the solution. And then, I had a lot of time to think about the improvement of the concept. I was not much in a hurry.
I was thinking of something we would build and it is going to last longer and it is going to create a whole new chapter and this is what we are doing here today. We have launched a product that is changing the narratives and dynamics.
