See smartphones that will lose WhatsApp’s support from January 1

Facebook-owned messaging app WhatsApp will stop working on millions of phones from January 1, 2021, TechEconomy.ng can report.
The update will affect mostly phones with Android released before 2010 and iPhone devices.
This will force owners to either update their mobile operating system or buy a new smartphone.
Recall that WhatsApp reached 2 billion users in February this year, according to the company’s official blog.
Phones set to lose WhatsApp support on 1 January 2021 are listed below;
- Apple iPhone 1-4
- Samsung Galaxy S2
- HTC Desire
- LG Optimus Black
- Motorola Droid Razr
Any Android released before 2010
Phones that will need to update to at least iOS 9 or Android OS 4.0.3:

9. iPhone 6
10. iPhone 6S
11. Samsung Galaxy S3 and newer

Please am Emmanuel I’m very happy about the app but, the valification code is very difficult to get it, in fact not only me is facing that problem alont of the African countries are face the same problem, so please you must to try your possible best for us thank you.
