Fintech Association of Nigeria has expressed optimism for quick recovery from COVID-19 pandemic setback in the year 2020.

The president of the association, Ade Bajomo, disclosed this in a new year message received by Techeconomy.ng.

Bajomo said: “As the world was ravaged the world by COVID-19, our country witnessed unprecedented and rightful demand by our youths and populace for justice, fairness inclusion and equal distribution of our commonwealth.

“And the unabated battle of insecurity and the protracted battle of labour strike that has crippled our public education sector for almost a year now. Our ecosystem was not left out from the inherent economic and financial downturn of the occasion.”

The president of FintechNGR in the message, expressed a strong belief that the body has strategically positioned to play a prominent role in harnessing the power of technology and the united force of collaboration to a greater height.

Bajomo also noted that FinTech association’s consummated board of trustee is made of highly experienced professionals of international repute coupled with the first transition of leadership in the association that his emergence as the president and top professionals that make governing councils.
