Enextgen’s NIWBQR ranks MNOs broadband connectivity in Ibadan

Enextgen Wireless has been empowering telecom consumers to visualize network quality in their areas of usage through Public Emetrics solution.
In this latest Emetrics through its National Independent Wireless Broadband Quality Reporting (NIWBQR), the company presents what they called ‘Enextlog Measured Values – Ibadan Drive’, showcasing the quality of telecommunication network deployment in the city (Oyo State).
NIWBQR has been offered by Enextgen Wireless, Ltd since 2016. It was designed to encourage Mobile Network Operators to provide high quality of Radio Frequency (RF) coverage for optimum utilization of available spectrum and excellent customer experience.
NIWBQR previously based on commercial UE logging and post-processing tools.
Now the company is using Enextlog for input data and Emetrics for processing and visualization
It also focuses on a combination of our proprietary RF quality ranking (Emetrics) and measurements of results from key applications such as ping and FTP transfers.
Interestingly, in this report, 50% of the weight for overall ranking is assigned to Emetrics, 20% each is assigned to downlink throughput and packet latency, while 10% is assigned to uplink throughput
