Enextgen releases NIWBQR July 2021 findings on broadband connectivity in Ibadan

Enext Wireless “Enextgen” has continued to show why it is a household name in the global telecommunications industry.
The company has been providing consumer experience on mobile networks through its flagship National Independent Wireless Broadband Quality Reporting (NIWBQR) which measures the quality of effort in Radio Frequency engineering invested in commercial LTE network.
Enextgen also offers Wi-Fi Solutions for homes, offices, parks & recreational centers, hospitals and rural communities.
They specialize in using available mobile broadband networks to provide optimum connectivity for internet access and other networking services for small businesses and other commercial centers.
Enextgen has been offering National Independent Wireless Broadband Quality Reporting (NIWBQR) since 2016.
The reporting system was designed to encourage Mobile Network Operators to provide high quality of Radio Frequency coverage for optimum utilization of available spectrum and excellent customer experience.
Previously based on commercial UE logging and post-processing tools it now uses Enextlog for input data and Emetrics for processing and visualization
NIWBQr now focuses on a combination of our proprietary RF quality ranking (Emetrics) and measurements of results from key applications such as ping and FTP transfers.
According to the latest report capturing Ibadan, Oyo State capital dated 1st to 31st July, 2021, Enextgen Wireless, in the report made available to TechEconomy.ng, assigned 50% of the weight of its overall ranking to Emetrics, 20% each to downlink throughput and packet latency and 10% to uplink throughput.
Evaluated route
“RF quality play’s similar role in 4G LTE as the quality of Nigerian roads play in its transportation system and it is just as easy to ignore. As such, it is the primary focus of NIWBQR”, the report indicates.
