Following the company’s acquisition of automotive marketplaces Cheki Kenya and Cheki Uganda from Ringier One Africa Media (ROAM) Africa, Autochek has officially launched operations in Kenya.

Having established itself across Nigeria, Autochek seeks to expand its automotive digital solutions across pan-Africa. The company’s move into the Kenyan market marks the beginning of this expansion.

At the official launch of the company in Nairobi, Kenya, Etop Ikpe, founder and CEO of Autochek said:

“With a high credit penetration rate, Kenya is an exciting market for us to be expanding into. The Kenyan market presents an opportunity for us to build on what Cheki Kenya has done over the last decade and to build technology solutions that will drive growth in Africa’s automotive industry.”

He further stated that the company has had great success in its pilots by adapting and tailoring solutions for different consumers.
