Kingmakers, Africa’s leading sport and digital entertainment platform Company, Tuesday 19 April 2022, announced Adim Isiakpona as its new Chief Operations Officer.
Adim joins Kingmakers from Google where he led Sales across the company’s West Africa region.
In his new role, Adim will oversee retail operations, logistics, replenishment, information technology and international sourcing, and lead the company’s plans to strengthen its Nigeria operations and expand its service offerings to more cities across Africa.
Since launching in 2018, Kingmakers have been solely focused on their goal of combining technology, customer insight and talent to give African sports fans a better, more rewarding, and engaging experience.
Before joining Google, Adim Isiakpona was Intel’s Head of Marketing, Communication and Programs for Africa, Middle East & Turkey.
He was responsible for the company’s regional marketing operations and brand building efforts, including end-to-end management demand generation projects, co-marketing activities, and all CSR initiatives in Africa. During his time at Intel, Adim headed Intel’s PC acceleration project in Africa.
Prior to joining Intel, Adim Isiakpona also led Marketing and Communication for Hewlett Packard West Africa, where he led the expansion of the PC and consumables channel market in Nigeria and Ghana.
He also spends his time on volunteering, consulting, and supporting the growth of several startups and mid-sized businesses in Africa such as Tailored, Packmyload, Alfa & Jam, Shuttlers, L’amour Events, Yvent Couture, Jeff Urban to mention a few.
Adim’s career experience will come in handy with guiding Kingmakers’ expansion goals and executing the strategies that will be key to the success of this transformation.
In 2021 Adim Isiakpona earned an MBA from Quantic School of Business & Technology University, where he graduated with a distinction.
He also holds a postgraduate degree in Global Marketing from the University of Liverpool, UK.
