Today, Liquid Intelligent Technologies Zambia has launched its Azure Stack service. The service will provide Zambian businesses access to hyperscale cloud technologies while satisfying regional requirements for data regulation.
The Azure Stack’s availability in Zambia, according to Liquid, positions the firm to support businesses of all sizes.
Microsoft’s Azure Stack enables businesses to utilize Azure infrastructure within their own data centers while developing and deploying cloud-based apps and services.
Fundamentally, Azure Stack enables businesses to build and operate Azure services inside of their infrastructure. Businesses that must adhere to tight compliance or regulatory regulations may find this to be very helpful. These regulations usually prevent them from using public cloud services or organizations that require low latency or offline operations.
The new service from Liquid comes at a time when many businesses across Africa are migrating to the cloud. This way it will be able to provide better scalable, flexible, and cost-efficient data service.
According to Liquid, its investment would also give customers access to extremely secure cloud solutions, reduce latency, and enable real-time business continuity through adaptable adoption models.
Liquid also stated that local firms, especially SMEs, that are quickly realizing the advantages of moving to the cloud, can now have an equal playing field concerning their foreign competitors thanks to the availability of Azure Stack in the nation.
According to Mark Townsend, CEO of Liquid Intelligent Technologies Zambia, with the local digital economy still in the infancy phase, the economy still needs to make cloud computing more accessible.
Liquid Zambia has reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with the public and commercial sector to transform Zambia into a digital economy with the introduction of Azure Stack.
