Tech giant Apple has introduced a new colour option for its popular smart speaker, the HomePod mini.
The new “midnight” colour joins the existing yellow, orange, blue, and white options, bringing a wider range for users to match their style and décor.
Despite its compact size at just 3.3 inches tall, the Apple HomePod mini comes with great sound, and a 360-degree audio experience.
The speaker is sleekly designed with a mesh exterior made from 100% recycled fabric and a backlit touch surface for easy control.
Starting July 17th, users can purchase the HomePod mini in midnight for $99 (US) through Apple’s online store and app.
The new colour will also be available at physical Apple Stores in various countries, including the US, Canada, China, Singapore, and more.
Again, authorised retailers and select carriers will offer the midnight HomePod mini, though prices may vary.
Along with the new colour, the HomePod mini boasts a range of features. Users can access a vast music library with Apple Music, control smart home devices with Siri, and even create a home theatre experience when paired with Apple TV 4K.
Siri also allows for convenient management of everyday tasks and sending announcements throughout the house.
