The Enugu State Gaming and Lotto Commission (ESGC) has announced the hosting of the 2025 Enugu State Gaming Stakeholders Forum, scheduled to hold on Thursday, November 6th, 2025, at the Amadeo Event Centre, Enugu, starting at 9:00 a.m.

The forum is a strategic regulatory engagement designed to bring together all licensed gaming operators, agents, technology partners, and key stakeholders in the Enugu State gaming ecosystem.

It marks the beginning of a new phase in the Commission’s drive to build a more transparent, technology-driven, and socially responsible gaming environment.

According to the Commission, this year’s Stakeholders Forum will focus on several key initiatives, including:

Establishment of Gaming Commission Offices across all Local Government Areas (LGAs) to decentralize regulation and bring ESGC services closer to operators.

Deployment of Gaming Inspectors to monitor gaming operations statewide, ensuring compliance and curbing illegal activities.

Implementation of the Enugu State Gaming Regulatory Management Platform (GRMP) — a new digital system for applying, renewing, and managing licenses online.

Introduction of Official Gaming Approval Signages to ensure that all licensed outlets display ESGC-approved identification.

Enforcement of Physical Standards for Gaming Outlets — all gaming businesses must now operate from approved physical shops, eliminating makeshift or roadside setups.

Launch of ESGC’s Good Cause Projects, which will fund education, healthcare, sports, and youth development across the state.

Speaking ahead of the event, the Executive Secretary and CEO of ESGC, Prince Arinze Arum, described the forum as “a landmark in the state’s journey toward full digital regulation and responsible gaming.”

“This year’s Stakeholders Forum will not only unveil the Commission’s new reforms but also give every operator and agent the opportunity to align with our compliance roadmap. Attendance is compulsory for all license holders, and non-participation will be treated as a regulatory breach,” Prince Arum stated.

The 2025 Stakeholders Forum will also feature the unveiling of the new ESGC corporate identity, reflecting the Commission’s renewed focus on innovation, efficiency, and collaboration.

Operators and stakeholders are encouraged to confirm and attend the event unfailingly.
