Air Peace Limited has announced the resumption of daily flights between Ibadan and Abuja beginning December 24, 2025, boosting domestic air travel connectivity just in time for the holiday rush.

The reinstated service follows the reopening of Ibadan Airport to commercial operations, enabling the airline to meet growing passenger demand from travellers in Oyo State and neighbouring communities seeking easier access to the Federal Capital Territory.

Under the new schedule, fares on the Ibadan–Abuja route will start from ₦95,000, a pricing structure Air Peace described as competitive and passenger-friendly for the peak festive period.

The development is expected to provide a reliable alternative to long, often challenging road journeys while improving both convenience and safety for travellers.

Air Peace said the move forms part of its wider domestic network expansion, which includes the recent resumption of flights to Warri and increased frequencies on key routes to accommodate heightened passenger traffic during the yuletide season and into 2026.

The airline’s boost in capacity is supported by its expanding fleet, including the recent delivery of its third Embraer 190 aircraft, a development expected to enhance operational resilience, schedule integrity and overall service delivery across its domestic operations.

Air Peace reiterated its commitment to connecting underserved markets, facilitating socio-economic activities through dependable air transport services, and urged travellers to book early via its website, mobile app or authorised travel agents to benefit from the introductory fares.

With the reinstatement of this key route, Air Peace reinforces its position as one of Nigeria’s leading carriers, strategically expanding access and offering greater travel options for passengers ahead of the festive season.
