PAU Appoints Ngozi Okpara Acting Dean of SMC

The School of Media and Communications (SMC) has announced the appointment for its Acting Dean, Dr. Ngozi Okpara, by Pan-Atlantic University.

Prior to her appointment, Dr. Okpara was the Director GfK Centre, School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria.

The appointment of an Acting Dean for SMC was as a result of the demise of Dr. Mike Okolo recently.

“We will admit that the past few days have been hard dealing with the demise of Dr. Mike Okolo. The leadership vacuum left by the passing of Dr. Okolo is very obvious and difficult to fill.

“There is a need to ensure operations continue at the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria (SMC) with minimal disruptions.

“In this regard, the University Management Council has approved the appointment of Dr. Ngozi Okpara as Acting Dean of the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria with effect from today, June 9, 2022.

“We wish Dr. Okpara success in her new appointment”, the School tweeted today about Dr. Ngozi Okpara ‘s appointment:
