MTN, Nigeria’s largest mobile telecommunications company, has tendered an apology to its subscribers over its network downtime on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

Millions of MTN subscribers experienced downtime on the network following drop calls, and inability to surf the Internet or stream videos.

The challenge, TechEconomy learnt cuts across subscribers in many parts of Nigeria.

But the telco in a statement on its verified Twitter handle said services have been restored.

“Today of all days, you couldn’t count on us to keep seamlessly connected with the people, places, business, and things that matter to you.

“Words cannot express how sorry we are for the disruption we caused. The issue has been resolved and services restored”.
