Abdulrahman Barkindo Alkali has emerged the new president of the Young Innovators of Nigeria (YIN)
Alkali is the third president. He is taking over the baton from Mayowa Ajiboye whose tenue as the second substantive President of YIN has ended.
Young Innovators of Nigeria was founded by Andrew Abu (first president) as an ICT developmental focus social organization that promotes local content and technology innovations to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) by training, software and hardware development, talent identification and mentorship.

Alkali is an experienced Coordinator with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry.
He is skilled in strategic planning, public speaking, ICT consultancy, and training. Strong professional hatched from Federal University of Technology, Yola, he analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance & assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
The new YIN President is also proficient in security of systems, networks, and enterprise information. Facilitates IT security audits or investigations.
