AfriHacks has announced that its AfriHacks 2023 hackathon for builders in the AI, web3, and hardware space, as well as other tech-related projects.
The AfriHacks 2023 hackathon is looking to bring together Africans and youth of African descent with diverse skill levels to collaborate on creating innovative software or hardware projects.
AfriHacks is on a mission to empower builders, innovators, and startups worldwide to solve problems and create a better future. The organization’s focus is to create a global network of builders, innovators, and entrepreneurs who can collaborate and contribute to the development of sustainable solutions for the world’s most pressing challenges.
Teams are empowered by the event’s resources, which include challenges, awards, sponsors, mentors, and workshops. Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of location or educational background, and entrance is free. There will also be additional funding available for travel and lodging expenses.
The hackathon promotes diversity across schools, nations, and skill levels by allowing teams of up to four participants. Beginners are encouraged to attend since the event will offer mentors, workshops, and tutorials to support them. In the next weeks, applications for AfriHacks 2023 will open. Participants will have the chance to win over 30 prizes totaling over $500,000.
In collaboration with its partners, AfriHacks has built global innovation platforms, designed, implemented, and scaled sandboxes, accelerators, and incubation programs globally, and organized, hosted, and directed over 30 Hackathons globally.
