In a move that defines its intent to upskill young people in emerging communities in Nigeria, Borderless Tech Hub has launched its Borderless Influencer Program to train young individuals to become social media influencers in the Web 2 and Web 3 space.
Established by Crypto Smart in collaboration with Comsotech, Borderless Hub is a developer hub designed to educate and prepare young Africans to create practical blockchain solutions. Every year, the hub hopes to produce at least 100 African software developers capable of creating Web3 products that advance the continent.
In addition to hosting quarterly development events to certify and exhibit recently trained developers and draw in new prospective developers, the Borderless Tech Hub offers training and mentorship opportunities.
Karla Obakpolor, the founder of CryptoSmart, noted that the program aims to create authorities in the Web space.
“The goal of the Borderless Influencer Program is to take the gospel of Borderless/Cryptosmart to the far ends of the digital space. Through this program, you’re going to grow, and you’re going to be mentored into becoming an authority on social media through whatever skills you have.
“We are looking for young, energetic people from our volunteer community that want to be a part of this,” said Obakpolor.
It is noteworthy that Web 3 is still in its infancy and that its complete influence on social media and influencer marketing is not yet known. Nonetheless, with Borderless educating influencers who welcome the new technology and adjust to the shifting environment, emerging communities could discover fresh approaches to engage their followers and prosper in the rapidly changing digital arena.
