Experts Set Agenda for Payment Industry
The DigitalPayExpo 2023 is bringing industry-wide innovation into focus. The agenda features sessions on contactless payments, new technologies and the future of payment, cybersecurity, financial inclusion, and others.
The 23rd annual Payments’ conference will be held on the 7th and 8th of June 2023 in Eko Hotels and Suites, Plot 1415 Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. Attendance is free for both the conference and the exhibition.
“Technology evolves rapidly, and the payments space is no exception. If we focus on what’s happening now, we’re already falling behind,” said Yinka Adeyemi, the Managing Director of Intermarc Consulting, the organizers of Africa’s most content-driven payment event.
“This year’s DigitalPayExpo is moving the industry forward by showcasing the innovations and disruptors that are changing the way we transact. According to him, contactless payment is one of the most exciting new applications to be launched in the payment world. Contactless payment is a unique advancement that has completely changed how people transact goods and services on the go. With the popularity of mobile payments, contactless credit cards, and other payment systems taking off in recent years,
it is clear that this trend will not be slowing down anytime soon. There is no doubt that some of the biggest innovations regarding merchant products and services being utilized in the industry have been around contactless payment solutions.
DigitalPayExpo 2023 is therefore designed to explore the future of contactless, which is already here.
