The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), in partnership with Paystack, has officially launched Operation Go Cashless, a contactless payment solution designed to modernize transactions across Nigeria’s airports.

The rollout begins with Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, where all payments at FAAN revenue points, including airport access gates, car parks, and FAAN VIP & Protocol Lounges, will now be processed exclusively through secure, cashless channels.

This initiative eliminates cash collections at designated points, ensuring faster, safer, and more transparent services for travelers and airport users.

“Operation Go Cashless is part of FAAN’s commitment to global best practices in airport management,” said FAAN management. “By embracing contactless payments, we are enhancing efficiency, improving revenue assurance, and elevating the overall customer experience at our airports.”

Passengers can also obtain the FAAN Go Cashless Card at airport access gates in Lagos and Abuja. After collection, users are encouraged to activate and fund their cards immediately by visiting here.

Nationwide Rollout in Phases

Following successful implementation in Lagos and Abuja, FAAN will extend the cashless policy to airports nationwide in phases.
