The world has become a global village, and for entrepreneurs to stay relevant and in touch with their target market, it is important to have a good understanding of how to leverage technology for their business.

Today, technology has improved the structure and dynamics of how businesses operate.

The MTN Foundation ICT and Business skills training program is designed to help young entrepreneurs gain relevant business and technology skills to help grow their businesses.

Since 2018, the Foundation has partnered with industry experts like Oracle, KPMG, IBM, Digital Bridge Institute, CISCO, Google, Meta, and Microsoft, to implement the training across 16 states in Nigeria. To date, over 4000 young entrepreneurs have completed the training program.

The Foundation has announced the launch of the sixth phase of the training for 3000 young entrepreneurs, in partnership with Microsoft and Meta. The training is targeted at entrepreneurs and business owners between the ages 18-35 years in Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Kebbi, Niger and Yobe states.

The five-week virtual training will cover topics like – entrepreneurship in the digital age, ICT for business success and new generative AI skills. Participants will also gain skills to build and grow their businesses online.

There is also an additional benefit of a 90-million-naira equipment grant for the top 300 participants at the end of the program.

Interested and qualified candidates can log on to HERE to register before the application deadline on 18th August 2023.
