Meta, the parent company for WhatsApp has made it possible for you to use the same WhatsApp number on multiple devices.

For clarity sake, you can connect four devices to a single WhatsApp number for free and 10 devices for a monthly fee.

So, how do you take advantage of the much-awaited feature that allows users to use their WhatsApp account on up to 4 smartphones?

Follow these steps:

Step 1

Open the main WhatsApp app you want to link to

Step 2

Check the top right, click on the three dots

Step 3

Click on “Link Devices” then click the link device button. This will automatically open a Qr code scanner.

Step 4

Now launch the WhatsApp app you want to link to the main device. It is important you ensure the WhatsApp is newly installed or you clear its data.

Step 5

On the “Verify Phone Number” page, click on three dots on top right

Step 6

Select “Link to Existing Account”, this will open a Qr code for you to scan.

Step 7

Take your main phone’s active QR code scanner and place it over the other phone to scan the QR code.

Step 8

Enter the new device name to easily identify it and viola, you can now use one WhatsApp account on two different phones.

Please note, this feature is available on Business WhatsApp. And to link more than four devices and up to 10 devices you have to subscribe to Whatsapp premium.
