NCC, NITDA, Galaxy Backbone, NDPC CEOs Felicitate with Bosun Tijani on Appointment as Minister

Heads of Agencies and Directors from the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, have felicitated with Dr. Bosun Tijani, the newly sworn-in Minister.

The chief executives gathered on Monday to welcome the Dr. Tijani to the Ministry immediately after he was sworn-in by President Bola Tinubu.

Although, from the photographs circulating on social media, some of the principal actors were not around, however, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), the Galaxy Backbone Limited, and the National Data Protection Commission (NDPC), took to Twitter to share congratulatory messages to the Ministry.

One of the messages signed by Prof. Umar Danbatta, the Executive Vice Chairman of the NCC, reads:

“On Behalf of the management and staff of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), we felicitate with you on your appointment as Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy.

“Your appointment bears eloquent testimony to the fact that you possess the competence and performance to contribute and take the industry to greater heights and the realization of the renewed hope agenda of the administration in the sector.

“We are confident that the country and the industry will benefit immensely from your wealth of experience in this service of our great nation Nigeria.

Similarly, Kashifu Inuwa, Director General of NITDA wrote:

“Dear Dr @bosuntijani,

“On behalf of the Management and Staff of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), we are pleased to congratulate you on your appointment as the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy.

“This appointment is a testament to President @officialABAT’s Renewed Hope Agenda. We strongly believe that your dedication and expertise will drive the digital economy forward, foster technological innovation, expand digital infrastructure, and ensure inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

“We are thrilled about the possibilities and opportunities that lie ahead and are confident that your tenure will reinvent the social contract between the government and key stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem and build trust and confidence for the benefit of all.

“Once again, congratulations! We look forward to working with you to build a more innovative and digital Nigeria.

Professor Muhammad Bello Abubakar also joined others to welcome the Minister thus;

“We look forward to your inspiring leadership in the journey towards transforming our nation’s Digital ecosystem.

Dr. Vincent Olatunji, the National Commissioner of the newly created National Data Protection Commission (NDPC), also congratulated Dr. Bosun Tijani.

He said that the Minister’s appointment reflects his exceptional dedication to advancing Nigeria’s digital landscape.
