N-BA Annual Lecture

The 2023 N-BA Annual Lecture themed “Strategic Leadership for Economic Growth and Development,” is set to take place tomorrow, November 16, 2023, Techeconomy can report.

The N-BA Annual Lecture is a series of lectures inspired by topical and prevailing issues affecting Nigeria, Britain and the world in general.

The lecture brings together world leaders, government officials, business and thought-leaders whilst drawing attendance across multiple countries, industries and sectors.

The theme for the 2023 N-BA Annual Lecture explores the responsibilities and expectations associated with leadership in the context of a nation’s progress by analysing the intricate relationship between leadership, policy formulation and execution, establishment of strategic collaborations, and their significant impact on the economic advancement and overall development of a nation and its citizenry.

The keynote speaker for the event is Mr. Niyi Yusuf, Chairman Nigeria Economic Summit Group.

The panelists include: Mr. Edu Okeke – MD Azura Powers, Dr. Tope Fasau – SA to the President on Economic Affairs, Mrs. Bekeme Masade Olowola- CEO CSR in Action, Dr. Kunbi Wuraola, Director Policy & Partnership For Africa New Globe.

Moderating the session is Mr. Femi Awoyemi CEO of Proshare Nigeria.

The N-BA, a non-governmental/not-for-profit organisation, was formed in Nigeria in 1969 as a corresponding association now known as the British-Nigeria Education Trust, based in the United Kingdom.

In 2009, the association was incorporated as a trust, dedicated to developing relationships between individuals, organisations and institutions from Nigeria, Britain and the Commonwealth resident in Nigeria.

The membership, comprising corporate and individual members drawn from the business, professional, diplomatic, government and social communities, work together to seek the common good, brings mutual benefit to all members and also encourage closer working cooperation between Nigeria and Britain.
