Saadat Aliyu is the founder of Shamrock Innovations, a tech innovation hub that empowers women and youth to develop sustainable businesses and innovative solutions.
She is a dedicated advocate for gender equality and strongly opposes gender-based violence. Saadat leverages digital technologies to drive social change and empower women and girls in Nigeria and Africa.
Through Shamrock Innovations, Saadat has trained over 6,000 women in technology and entrepreneurship skills and 2,000 women in modern technologies.
She is passionate about creating impactful products and building tech communities that amplify women’s voices and increase their presence in public and private spaces.
One notable achievement is the Helpio app, which provides a safe and anonymous platform for survivors of gender-based violence to report incidents and access comprehensive support services.

Saadat Aliyu has received numerous awards and recognitions, including recognition from the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, features on the Al Jazeera News Channel, and the prestigious ELOY (Exquisite Lady of the Year) 2021 award in digital innovation.
She has also been honored with the Merit Award for advocating for women in technology, selected as part of the Youth Creative Forum for advocating for women in the Northern part of Nigeria, named one of the 60 Women Champions Nigeria: Business Day 2020, and recognized as one of the Top 50 Northern Women in Tech by Jobberman.
Additionally, she won the Youthhub Digital Innovation Challenge 2021 and delivered the best presentation at the Association of Women Engineers of Nigeria in 2020.
