Onyeka Akumah, founder and CEO of Treepz, a leading corporate mobility solutions startup in Africa, has received a medal at Africa’s 40 Under 40 CEO’s Awards in Kampala, Uganda.
The esteemed Africa’s Under 40 CEO’s Awards & Summit held recently on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 serves as a prestigious platform to celebrate young and influential African business leaders under the age of 40.
Organized annually by c, the award aims to honour visionary leaders who are driving economic growth and transformational impact across the continent through their exceptional leadership.
Recipients of the prestigious Africa’s Under 40 CEOs Awards 2024 were also conferred an Honorary Doctorate Degree (PhD) from Prowess University Delaware USA, as well as Fellows of the Global Institute of Leadership & Governance South Africa.

Onyeka Akumah is a renowned technology serial entrepreneur with a remarkable track record. Prior to founding Treepz in 2019, he has been instrumental in the development of key sectors of the African economy with the impact of his businesses in real estate where Small Small Technology has served 12,000 homeowners or tenants, his work in the agriculture sector with Farmcrowdy in Nigeria, Mazia Honey & Tea in Ghana and Nyeri Hills Coffee in Kenya. More recently, Onyeka has invested in over 10 promising startups.
Akumah was also recently celebrated as one of the Top All-Star Mentors from Africa by Techstars – A Global early-stage investor and was very recently a visiting lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Marketing at the Rome Business School.
