Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, alongside his Nasarawa State counterpart, Abdullahi Sule, and Kashifu Inuwa, the director-general of NITDA, are confirmed as key speakers for the highly anticipated Lagos Future Conference 2025.

Scheduled for June 6, 2025, the conference will convene from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM WAT at the prestigious Oriental Hotel on 3 Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos.

Engr. Festus Alawode, director of Events at Future Conference, stated in Lagos that the conference, themed “Future Forward,” will serve as a premier platform for Africa’s leading minds across academia, technology, media, ICT, government ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs), policymaking, and both public and private sectors.

The event aims to foster critical discussions on harnessing the immense potential of youth innovation and technology to drive national economic growth and development.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in insightful panel sessions, listen to inspiring keynote speeches, participate in dynamic breakout sessions, and utilize invaluable networking opportunities.

Discussions will center on empowering future generations, regenerating nature, and transforming humanity through collaborative efforts.

Mojisola Alabi, the project coordinator, further highlighted a distinguished roster of confirmed speakers, including Hannatu Musa Musawa, Minister of Art, Culture and Creative Economy; Seyi Tinubu, Entrepreneur and son of President Bola Tinubu; and Olatubosun Alake, Lagos State Commissioner for Innovation, Science, and Technology.

“The Lagos Future Conference 2025 is a vital gathering for youth, policymakers, the business community, and all stakeholders committed to shaping a prosperous future for Africa,” she remarked.
