Two Nigerian Startups among 15 Selected for 2022 Women Entrepreneurship for Africa (WE4A)

April 7 2022 was an exciting Mentor Moment for Victor Uche Obioma after two female-led businesses he mentored at 2022 Women Entrepreneurship for Africa- WE4A were selected to advance to Growth Stage to win €50k euros each in grant funding, training and business growth support.
The two businesses are among the 15 selected from 99 female-led businesses that entered for the #WE4A program.
This achievement marked the 4th time and total of 10 startups founders so far Victor has helped to unlock funding at Accelerator and Incubator Programs within Africa and Iraqi Kurdistan region.

They operate in Agri -technology and Mental health Care sectors respectively.

About WE4A
The Women Entrepreneurship for Africa (WE4A) project is an action jointly supported by the European Union (EU), the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), with implementation from the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) and the German Development agency GIZ (E4D program).
Running the growth and acceleration programs of WE4A is the Swiss Association for Entrepreneurship in Emerging Markets (SAFEEM).
