No fewer than 4,000 customers of the First City Monument Bank (FCMB) have benefited from the FCMB Millionaire Promo Season since its inauguration in 2013 across the country.

Mr Matthew Ofolue, the Zonal Head of the FCMB in charge of Ondo, Ekiti, Ogun and Ekiti states, stated this in Ondo, Ondo State during the FCMB Millionaire Promo Season 9 Grand Finale Draw yesterday.

Ofolue said that among the gifts won in the promo were cars, cash of millions of naira, television sets, and power generating sets, refrigerators, phones and TV cable decoders.

He stated that the bank had transformed thousands of lives of Nigerians through the promo, saying that the FCMB was committed to offer the very best of products and services in the retail banking space and also deliver excellent services that would ensure the achievement of the aspirations of its customers.

The Zonal Head noted that the FCMB Millionaire Promo Season 9 was an extension of the bank’s previous promos, saying that it was designed to give extra value and reward to the bank’s customers, while encouraging financial inclusion and saving culture in the country.

According to him, the promo is targeted at all segments of the society, especially existing and potential savings account customers of the bank with exclusion of salary and domiciliary account holders.

Ofolue said that the selection of winners was done electronically and the promo draw was being done simultaneously at all the 20 zones and four regions that make up FCMB across the country.

He said the Season Promo 9 had given N5,000 to 20 customers each, N10,000 to 10 customers each, N20,000 to 10 customers each, N50,000 to four customers each and N100,000 to two customers each.

The zonal head added  that the Season 9 Promo had 47 winners of cash prize with a winner going home with N1 million while 432 customers went home with various prizes.

Appreciating the initiative, Mr Thompson Akinyosade , who won the N1 million prize, said that the promo would increase the bank’s customers.

“The promo no doubt will increase patronage of people coming to FCMB because there is confidence that this is a bank that makes promises and fulfill them. This is a fulfilled promise.

“I will use this money to fund my children education.  I thank God and FCMB for the gesture,” he said.

Also Temidayo Kuteji, who won N100,000, said that the process of selection was open and transparent to everybody.

Kuteji promised that he would be the ambassador of the bank, telling people to patronize it.

He stated that he would use the money to cater for his family’s needs at the Christmas.

In her words, Mrs Grace Funmilayo Ademiloye, who also won N100,000, described FCMB as a reliable and dependable bank, thanking the bank for the initiative which she said was timely.

Ademiloye said that as a Christian she would pay her tithe of N10,000 from the money and use the remaining one for undisclosed needs.
