Green Africa, Nigeria’s value airline, and Jump Air have announced a partnership on an additional aircraft (ATR72-500). The news comes three months after the firm announced plans to expand its network across Nigeria starting in 2023.
Structured as a damp lease, the additional aircraft will offer Green Africa bridge capacity to grow its fleet to four aircraft and support the airline’s planned expansion. Subject to regulatory approvals, the additional aircraft is scheduled to enter into service during Q3 2023.
With this expansion, Green Africa aims to establish a base in Abuja and extend its presence to 16 routes across 10 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Having established itself as one of the most economical and punctual carriers in Nigeria, it is amazing to note that Green Africa only recently began doing business. Green Africa’s commercial operations began around 20 months ago. The firm is a regional airline based in Lagos that flies to Port-Harcourt, Abuja, Benin, Owerri, Akure, Ilorin, and Enugu as well as connecting flights from Ilorin, Benin, and Akure to Abuja.
Customers who book their flights at least 60 days in advance can take advantage of rates starting at N25,000 on all Green Africa itineraries, including most recent ones.
