Caritas Communications Limited, a leading strategic communications and reputation management firm with deep expertise in the energy, oil, and gas sector, has announced a significant leadership transition as part of its long-term growth and succession strategy.
Effective August 1, 2025, Chief Adedayo Ojo, the visionary founder and outgoing Chief Executive Officer, assumes the position of chairman of the Board.

In this new role, Chief Ojo will focus on steering the company’s strategic direction and strengthening its corporate governance.
New Leadership Team Announced
As part of this transition, Favour Akintan has been appointed Chief Operating Officer/Acting CEO.

Formerly the Group Head, Business Services/Operations Manager, Favour brings over 12 years of experience in operations management, integrated marketing, and business development. She will lead the company’s new-generation executive team.
Joining Akintan on the new management team are:
Adedayo David Odulaja – director, Research, Policy, and Programmes.

With a robust background in journalism, digital strategy, and policy development, David will lead strategic research initiatives and client-aligned policy programmes.
Fisayo Ayodele – director, Strategic Communication

A seasoned expert in corporate communications, Fisayo will focus on innovation in communication strategy and media relations.
Kazeem Afolabi – Associate Director, Human Resources and Administration

One of Caritas’ pioneer staff members, Kazeem will now oversee human resources, board affairs, and administrative operations.
