The Ibom Blockchain Xperience (IBX) Tour is accelerating its expansion across West Africa, solidifying its reputation as one of the region’s most influential blockchain education and adoption initiatives.
The ongoing tour, covering Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Benin Republic, and Cameroon, is building strong momentum ahead of IBX 2026, which is projected to be West Africa’s largest blockchain event to date.
Structured to deepen awareness and drive real-world adoption of blockchain technologies, the IBX Tour brings together developers, founders, creators, traders, students, and emerging digital talent. Each stop features community activations, hands-on workshops, and curated networking designed to connect local innovators to new industry opportunities and accelerate digital transformation across the region.
According to the IBX organizing team, the cross-border expansion is a response to rising demand for blockchain knowledge and more inclusive access to digital skills. The initiative aims to onboard 100,000 participants during this tour cycle, with a long-term goal of reaching 100 million West Africans by 2030, signaling its ambition to fuel decentralized economic empowerment across the continent.
The growing excitement is building toward IBX 2026, scheduled to take place from March 10–14, 2026, in Uyo, Nigeria.
The flagship event is expected to host more than 12,000 participants, alongside leading global blockchain companies, policymakers, ecosystem partners, and thought leaders.
Over five days, attendees will engage in exhibitions, policy dialogues, technical masterclasses, strategic networking, and live demonstrations of blockchain applications.
Industry experts say the IBX Tour is helping to unify West Africa’s blockchain ecosystem and position the region as an emerging powerhouse in global Web3 innovation.
