In the heart of Awka, something extraordinary is taking shape. On Thursday, July 17, 2025, the Geeks and Founders Alliance for Soludo (GEFAS), a vibrant coalition of young tech professionals, is throwing open the doors to a new chapter of innovation and civic engagement.
At exactly 11:00 AM, the alliance will unveil its official operational hub located at 10 Uche Ekwunife Crescent, Iyiagu Estate, Awka.
But this is more than just a building launch. It’s a statement of intent. A symbol of what’s possible when young minds align with a progressive vision, Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s vision for a smart, digitally powered Anambra.
“This space is more than bricks and mortar. It represents our shared commitment to digital transformation, and what can happen when innovators, entrepreneurs, and problem solvers rally behind a leader who believes in the future,” said Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata (CFA), Convener of GEFAS.
The new GEFAS hub will function as a launchpad for tech-driven ideas, a collaborative home for digital creators, and a community engine for outreach and grassroots mobilization.
It’s designed to fuel ongoing support for the Solution Agenda while cultivating homegrown innovations that touch every LGA, street, and student in the state.
“We’re building more than systems, we’re building belief. GEFAS is here to power bold ideas and practical solutions that reach every corner of Anambra. This is just the beginning,” Agbata added.
