ASUS today took to the stage at CES 2024 to announce the latest additions to its consumer laptop lineup, headed up by the revolutionary new dual-screen Zenbook DUO.
The star of the lineup is the Zenbook DUO (2024) UX8406, a multi-talented 1.35 kg dual-screen laptop that’s the world’s first AI-powered 14-inch dual-screen laptop. With a detachable wireless keyboard and built-in kickstand, this versatile laptop offers up to a massive 19.8-inch workspace when fully opened, and it can be easily configured in a variety of practical and convenient modes.
New additions to the Zenbook series of premium ultraportable laptops include the Intel-powered Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3405) and AMD-powered Zenbook 14 OLED (UM3406), which deliver the signature elegance, sophistication and optimized performance that the series is renowned for.
This year’s update for the ASUS Vivobook series encompasses an impressive lineup including the 15-inch ASUS Vivobook Pro 15 OLED (N6506) for creators and gamers.
The thin-and-light ASUS Vivobook S series now includes new 14-, 15.6- and 16-inch models with Intel (S5406 / S5506 / S5606) or AMD (M5406 / M5506 / M5606) processors, which offer exceptional performance and cutting-edge features for a wide range of users.
The new lineup features the latest AI-powered Intel Core Ultra and AMD Ryzen 8040 Series processors, which offer better graphic performance, faster response and increased power efficiency, allowing users to effortlessly multitask and take advantage of the latest AI-enabled applications for enhanced creativity and productivity.

The revolutionary Zenbook DUO (2024) is the world’s first AI-powered 14-inch dual-screen laptop. With its detachable full-size Bluetooth ASUS ErgoSense keyboard and touchpad, this incredible device has a user-centric design that rewrites the rule book for on-the-go versatility.

The dual full-size up to 3K 120 Hz ASUS Lumina OLED 16:10 displays are joined by a lay-flat 180° hinge to instantly expand the visual workspace to up to a massive 19.8 inches, which thanks to the integrated kickstand and detachable keyboard can be used in vertical or horizontal orientations for a number of versatile user modes — Laptop, Dual Screen, Desktop or Sharing — controlled by smart gestures via the intuitive ASUS ScreenXpert software.
For recharging, the keyboard connects to pogo pins on the edges of the lower screen, aided by magnets for positioning, and for carrying it fits snugly between the two screens. It can be detached to allow full use of the visual workspace,or be placed on the lower display for a traditional clamshell laptop experience.
Zenbook DUO maximizes productivity and play throughout the day with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor with an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for AI acceleration, 32 GB of LPDDR5x memory, up to a 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, a long-lifespan 75 Wh battery, and a Harman Kardon-certified Dolby Atmos audio system. And with the huge screen real estate, users can effortlessly run all their favorite productivity apps — and keep them in view — at the same time.
Zenbook DUO is designed with sustainability and durability in mind. It incorporates a variety of recycled materials, and is durability tested to MIL-STD-810H military-grade standards to maximize the device’s lifespan.

The 1.2 kg light and 14.9 mm thin Zenbook 14 OLED is a premium ultraportable laptop powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor and Intel Arc graphics (UX3405), or the latest AMD Ryzen 8040 series processors and AMD Radeon graphics (UM3406) .
