Bolt, a leading ride-hailing platform, announced that it has been granted an operational license by the Anambra State Government.

This license allows Bolt to legally operate its ride-hailing services throughout the state, providing residents and visitors with safe, reliable, and affordable transportation options.

The granting of this license marks a significant milestone for Bolt in Nigeria, demonstrating the company’s commitment to expanding its services and contributing to the economic development of the country.

Bolt’s presence in Anambra State will provide numerous benefits, including increased access to affordable transportation, job creation, enhanced safety and security and economic growth.

Patricia Ifeoma Igwebuike, the Anambra State commissioner for Transport, said;

“This is a momentous occasion that the Anambra State Government has eagerly anticipated. The arrival of Bolt represents a welcome development in our state’s transportation landscape. Today, on behalf of the Ministry of Transport, we are proud to officially grant you this operational license. We are confident that Bolt will provide safe, reliable, and affordable transportation options for the people of Anambra. We wish you tremendous success and look forward to a fruitful collaboration that benefits our community and strengthens our transportation sector.”

Weyinmi Aghadiuno, acting head of Regulatory & Policy Africa, said:

“We are thrilled to partner with the Anambra State Government to bring Bolt’s safe and affordable ride-hailing services to the people of Anambra.
