The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday, presented a N1,692 trillion budget for 2023 to the state’s House of Assembly.
During the presentation, Sanwo-Olu said, “This 2023 budget of Continuity will propel Lagos into the next level.”
It would be recalled that the Lagos State House of Assembly passed the 2022 budget estimates with a slight increase of the grand total from the initial N1. 38 trillion to N1. 758 trillion.
There are expectations that lawmakers will make amendments that may possibly push the financial estimate up.
