David Adeleke, aka Davido, a multi-award-winning Nigerian singer, has set a new record with his new album, Timeless.
He released the album on March 31st, and it received 12 million streams in the first 24 hours on the global streaming platform Audiomack.
Timeless is the first album to reach those numbers on the platform on the first day of its release.
Davido expressed surprise in response to Audiomack Africa’s announcement on its official Twitter page.
Audiomack wrote; “RECORD-BREAKING: @davido’s #Timeless had over 12 MILLION streams in its first 24 hours, more than any other album on Audiomack, ever!? ?”
