Lesotho Public Financial Management hackathon wants to design a practical and innovative potential digital technology solution to authenticate transactions and documents in the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) by users.
The programme therefore seeks innovators who can collaborate to build a Minimal Viable Product.
The three-day design thinking programme would include multidisciplinary teams who would analyze the problem, generate ideas, and propose some concrete technological solutions to set up digital signature infrastructure for the IFMIS in Lesotho.
With the potential of being used across the public sector for transaction processing, these proposed digital solutions are expected to be presented in the form of a prototype. The hackathon’s working sessions will be conducted by professional facilitators with experience in public sector digital innovations.
